e live on the edge of Telford in a timber-framed house - one of fourteen  homes in a self-built community established 20 years ago in a secluded location close to the Ironbridge gorge. Seven of the homes are made of timber and the community has placed great emphasis on environmentally-friendly approaches.

n the half acre of 'natural' garden there is a woodworking shop (recently extended), a large yard and a timber barn.  The woodworking shop was used for manufacturing for several years but has now recently been refitted as a more appropriate teaching space for woodworking courses.

here are several very good restaurants and pubs in the locality to suit every taste and pocket. If you want to visit a museum then look no further than the Ironbridge Gorge Museum which is located on seventeen different sites nearby. There are also beautiful walks in abundance in the Gorge. Further out into Shropshire we have historic towns such as Much Wenlock and Shrewsbury. For more serious walking we have Wenlock edge and the Shropshire hills.

inding us is relatively easy. Exit the M54 at junction 4 onto the A442 (south) and continue straight on for the A4169.  Coming from the south (through Bridgnorth) follow the A442 and turn for Dawley onto the A4169. If you use online maps search on TF4 3QX
